This Breast Star is made from silver, gold and enamel. Though the star was very probable made by Zimmermann in Pforzheim, the needle has the Rothe and Vienna mark. It was quite common to source decorations from the original manufacturer to re-brand and sell to recipients.

The white enameled segments are affixed to the star body with screws. One arm has a minor and old repair in one of the tips. Nice and old patina almost makes the olden and silver rays blend together.
