Saxony M1867 infantry officer's sword


Description

The blade is in good condition 2. Slight stains. It comes with the etched inscription "MATTHIAS MÜLLER KÖNIGL. SÄCHS. HOFLIEFERANT LEIPZIG" (distributor) and "EISENHAUER GARANTIRT" (quality hallmark). Furthermore the monogram of Friedrich August III as well as the WKC maker's mark.

A real ray skin finished grip with intact wire wrapping. Brass hilt fittings. The crossguard bars the Saxon coat of arms. The finish of the scabbard (magnetic) is gone. No dents.
