  You will receive an e-mail confirming your successful bids the day after the auction has ended. In your personal my ratisbon's you will be able to inform us about your most convenient payment method for this order or tell us about an alternative shipping address.
  
  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. Knight's Cross

Description

VIEW DESCRIPTION

Cross in gold and enamel.

This cross stems from the initial award/design period between 1815 and 1837 and may as well be from the initial batch produced. The first order was placed with the French company Chabot in Paris. It complies with the generally encountered smaller size of decorations from and right after the Napoleonic wars.

The cross shows a beautiful gold patina as is can only be encountered with those extremely old decorations. A few but quite normal chips on the green enamel of the wreath on avers and reverse.
