Description

A black Heer Panzer "Feldjacke" (field jacket) which collectors call a "wrapper". A very early example made in 1940

Collar tabs: pink silk piping. Zinc skull. Both tabs are matching in condition but the skulls look to be non-matching set. One prong looks to be missing. Attached by machine.
Shoulder boards: Later black boards with pink silk piping to slip-on. Nice quality and condition.
Breast eagle: Early machine-woven type. EM/NCO type. Attached by hand

Buttons: all buttons complete
Lining: grey cotton
Markings: size markings. "B.II.40" depot marked. Maker marked.

Including some unknown numbers written to the lining. A maker's paper tag
The cloth of the wrapper shows a maker's mark of the cloth maker.

Matching early trousers. "K38" depot stamped in 1938. White cotton lining with size markings. One repair. Complete buttons.

Black sidecap with machine-attached soutache and cockade. Hand-attaached eagle. Dark cotton lining with LAGO-WIEN markings. Good condition.
