Excellent clean blade in mint condition. The front shows the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". Beautiful blackened background of the letters. Made by Böker Solingen. Maker marked on the reverse. Please note: Böker was the only manufacturer of SS Chained Service Daggers that marked the blade. 

Fine black wooden handle with inserted enamel SS roundel and eagle. Nickel-plated crossguards. Original attached officer's portepee. You can see the traces of the portepee on the handle, which have been made over the years. Black factory painted steel scabbard with nickel-plated fittings (magnetic). All six screws in position as well as unopened. 

Original steel chain showing SS runes and skulls. "SS" stamped to the revere. The snap-clip "Germanic knot" is fully functional.

No damage. No dents.
