German tactical wooden sign. Constructed from one solid piece of wood in an arrow shape design, period painted in white paint, red designation of « Seidensticker » with a red border. Double sided. Sign is approximatively 30x10cm. Weathering and some paint loose is visible. Seidensticker being a German surname. The sign was picked up in North Africa by a US soldier and shipped home. The soldier wrote on one of the sides the place where he picked it up « German aid station sign / north afrika ». Great display piece for any collector.
