A last ditch and late-war example of the common German first aid « Verbankasten » medical box. Wood and plywood construction. The exterior retains well over 95% of the factory tan paint. Interior is painted in a light grey color and in very nice condition. Box is maker marked in ink. Box retains its nice light green web material strap for transport. A rarer and desirable variation missing from most medical or fieldgear collections.
