A mid-war and standard issue example of a German first aid kit « Verbandkasten ». Made from a sturdy and heavier gauge metal in a blue-grey factory applied finish. The box is in very nice condition and retains well over 95% of its finish and stenciling along the front cover. The box is maker marked and dated along the interior paper contents label « 1942 ». The content is present. A desirable set.
