Very nice M1942 Heer green camouflage combat helmet. It is a « ckl64 » with the lot number « 2567 ». The exterior has been brush painted with a darker green paint over a winter camouflage. The liner is in overall very good to excellent condition, the pigskin leather is supple, black ink stamped with size « 56 » and retains its original yet broken drawstring. The original leather chinstrap is present and nicely maker and dated. The helmet is named twice, once on the leather and once on the back skirt in white paint « Beerbaum ».
