This is a very rare mid to late war German Waffen-SS EM/NCO visor cap, with a lovely « Crushed » shape. The visor cap is maker marked by « Deutsche Wertarbeit ». Cap is made with typical army type « feldgrau » green / gray wool with a black felt band. The white piping is still in great shape, interesting variant and does not have much « age toning » at all, still showing a vibrant color. The condition of the cap is very good with minor signs of age and wear to it. The original emblems are in very good condition and still retaining most of their original silver finish. The leather chinstrap has been removed. The interior is lined in two types of material, including a golden rayon fabric, which shows very little age or discoloration. The top celluloid sweat shield is intact with fully intact stitching. The sweat band in slightly worn condition with a few damage. Visor bill in very good condition, still with all original black laquer intact. A great condition rare German Waffen-SS EM/NCO visor cap with a beautiful crushed shape !
