A choice and textbook Waffen-SS enlisted mans M43 field cap with two piece insignia. The cap is a factory textbook example constructed from a feldgrau wool. It features both « BeVo » insignia factory zig-zag stitched. The field cap is in slightly worn condition. The single button closure along the front features a textbook button key hole and retains its original light brown plastic button still original sewn. The caps lining is the well known grey colored cotton material. Nicely ink stamped with he maker’s code « 1879 » and size « 56 ». Light moth damage along the front of the bill. Factory error in the bill stitching. A very rare untouched and true factory example of a Waffen-SS enlisted mans field cap.
