VIEW DESCRIPTION

A rare NPEA Student's Dagger. Worn by a student of the National Political Institutes of Education based in Naumberg. Known as "NAPOLA".

The blade is etched with the motto "Mehr sein als scheinen.". It has slight stains on both sides. "Karl Burgsmüller, Berlin" maker marked (or distributor?). Brown wooden handle, similarly designed as a SA Dagger but without emblems. Correct brass nuckle platted fittings. The lower crossguard bears number "N513" for the school location and student number.

Original olive-brown painted steel scabbard without dents. One original screw. Black leather frog stud are present.

Not easy to be found!
