Untouched and absolutely stunning M35 Heer helmet which was issued with a single decal after 1939. While you can see the factory paint to the inside of the shell, the outside was finished with a fieldgrey "sawdust" paint period time. The eagle decal was left out. The paint is over 95% and so is the condition of the decal.
There are tiny bits of white paste left to the shell so it is likely that this helmet was once worn with a white camo paint which was washed away in spring time.
The leather liner is still soft and comes "59" size marked. It comes with the original cord. The prongs of the rivets are absolutely flat which proofs liner and shell belong together ever since. The chin straps looks to be of a parade helmet but is again period time to the shell. It is quite dry.
The shell is ET66 marked.
A stunning helmet in absolutely untouched condition which will be very hard to upgrade!
