OFw. Bechstädt - Luftwaffe splinter protection goggles in case

Description

Luftwaffe splinter protection goggles (Flieger-Splitterschutzbrille). Issued to Oberfeldwebel Rudolf Bechstädt. He served as radio operator (Bordfunker) with Kampfgeschwader 200 and Kampfgeschwader 1 "Hindenburg". German Cross in gold on 4.9.1942 and Luftwaffe Honor Goblet on 20.4.1942.

Black bakelite frame with toned glasses. Original green headband. No damage. Including the matching metal case of issue. Full original paint. Lettering "Flieger-Splitterschutzbrillen mit Ultrasin-Gläsern D". Luftwaffe product code "Fl Nr. 30550". Very hard to find. Nice condition.
