An excellent SS Service Dagger made by Eickhorn, Solingen. It comes with the matching black leather hanger as well as a rare Eickhorn maker's tag.
The blade is in very nice condition. Nice etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". RZM "941/38SS" marked as well as "Eickhorn Solingen" maker marked. Black wooden handle with original attached SS roundel and national eagle. Minor chipping. Nickel-plated crossguards. Furthermore, an original Eickhorn maker's tag is "wrapped" around the handle.
Black factory painted steel scabbard (100 % in place). Nickel-plated metal fittings. All four screws in place as well as unopened. Only one small dent to the "ball". Including the matching black leather hanger. "SS 68/38 RZM" stamped. The snap clip is fully working. "A" (Assmann) and RZM "M5/8" maker marked as well as "DRGM" marked.
