Heer M35 double decal helmet - 2.E.IR.106 (NS66)

Description

Early Heer M35 double decal helmet issued in 1939. It was issued as a fire brigade helmet post war and was overpainted red!
The red color was removed by a collector and the original "apple-green" factory color is now back again. Unfortunately both decals have suffered a lot. Please see pictures.

"Abgenommen IV 1939" dome stamp to the inside. Size 59 stamped soft leather liner. Liner, rivets and shell were always together like that. The prongs look to have not been opened.

"2.E.JR.106" unit marked as well as "59" size marked to the inside of the shell. NS66 stamped to the shell.

Including a chin strap which is extremely dry and fragile. Cracks!
