A German M35 helmet which looks to be worn troughout the entire war. The latest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polizei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer. It would have received a camo paint very late in war. Around 1944/45.
Paint: Original factory paint to the shell covered by a period time 3-color (tan, red, green) sprayed camo paint. Around 80% are still present. Signs of wear and minor rust
Decals: No decals visible.
Lining: Still flexible but not too soft. signs of wear and age. Bits missing. Small cracks.
The liner is original to the shell.
