Description

M38 Kriegsmarine officer's dagger to Vizeadmiral Kurt von dem Borne (1885-1946). German Cross in Silver winner on 31. July 1944.

The dagger comes with an etched blade on both sides. It shows marine motifs and ornaments. "WKC" maker marked. Light stains.

An orange handle with wire wrapping. No chipping. The handle fittings and scabbard ("hammered") are made of brass. Remains of the gilding are present. His name "Kurt von dem Borne" is engraved on the scabbard. The release button is fully working.

Includes the officer's portepee.

Traces of wear and the scabbard has three small dents. Good condition 2.
