VIEW DESCRIPTION

Personal cigarette case of Vizeadmiral Kurt von dem Borne (1885-1946). German Cross in Silver winner on 31. July 1944. It was a gift from Großadmiral Karl Dönitz for Christmas 1942.

Made of genuine silver. "800" silver hallmarked. The front shows his name "Kurt von dem Borne" and an enameled admiral's flag. Inside the case is the engraving "Mit besten Weihnachtswünschen - Dönitz - 24.12.1942". Also "G.M. 155413" stamped.

Signs of use. No dents.

Size: 10x7.5 cm.
