Description

Privately purchased four-pocket tunic from field-grey gabardine. Classic design worn by Generals with red piping along the cuffs and the collar. Red vertical piping along the button line.

 

Buttons: Gilt. Complete
Breast eagle: Dark blue Kriegsmarine eagle. Hand-embroidered. Post-war attached
Collar tabs: Replica. Attached by hand. 
Shoulder boards. Replica. 
Lining: Fine silk. no tags

 

The tunic has three sets of loops for awards, a hole for a screw-style award, and an additional set of loops for a ribbon bar. There is a gold color unknown aguilette in gold mounted on the right shoulder. There is no moth damage.
