A privately purchased four-pocket tunic from field-grey gabardine. A light-weight summer type for service at the "South Front" such as Greece or Italy.
Buttons: Gilt. Assmann maker marked. Complete
Breast eagle: Gold bullion hand-embroidered type for Generals. Accurately attached by hand.
Collar tabs: Excellent quality examples with nice patina. Attached by machine.
Shoulder boards. Two singles of, however, exactly the same patina and condition.
Several loops for a long ribbon bar and two awards. Clear traces of wear.
Fine silk lining. No name or tailors tag.
Very nice condition but still clearly worn. Not even a hand-ful of really small moth bites.
