A very early parade tunic issued by the depot in Erfurt as not seen very often. It belonged to a Feldwebel serving with Pionier-Batallion 6. It comes with a maker's mark, size stamps and a "E36" (Erfurt 1936) depot marking, which is quite nice for a parade tunic who were privately purchased most of the time.
Black piped Feldwebel shoulder boards with "6" cypher. Sewn-in. Machine-woven officer's style breast eagle. Re-attached by machine through the liner. This could well be done period time after promotion when he preferred an officer's style eagle. Re-attached sleeve badges by hand. Machine-attached color tabs (period time).
Medium size. Moth damage and repaired moth holes. Condition 3.
