Description
Nice grouping to U-Boot Leutnant/Oberleutnant Linder consisting of his visor cap, his belt and and insignia. All inside a period time visor cap storage box with the original key. There are two U-Boot officers listed in the u-boat crew data base named LINDER. Part of the original grouping were named books. The consignor is searching for them in order to find out his first name.
 
Possible owners: 
Oberleutnant Gerhard Linder. Commander of U-579, U-2515, U-3006. U-3515
Leutnant Hans Linder. U-741. More likely.
 
Excellent Leutnant to Kapitänleutnant dark blue visor cap. Removable top. Stiched ornaments to the cloth visor as well as a stitched wreath badge. Metal cap eagle. 1940 dated.
Not a single moth hole! Minor signs of wear to the sweat-band a lining. LINDER named to the paper name tag. Blue silk lining.
Size 56. A little out of shape. Condition 2+.
 
Beautiful Kriegsmarine officer's belt and buckle named to "Linder". Excellent condition. No mothing, no corrosion. Excellent gilding. Total length: 96cm. Adjusted to 85cm. Height: 5,3cm.
 
Two rank/trade insignia.
 
Original storage box. Diameter: 32cm. Height: 18cm. Signs of use and age.
