Untouched tropical M40 helmet worn by an Afrikakorps soldier. Original tropical paint to the outside of the helmet. Nice signs of wear, patina and character. The inside of the shell was painted up to the lining. The liner is partially dry but definitely belonged to the shell. One rivet missing, two original rivets in place. A serious dent to the right side most probably cause by a shell splinter!
No markings visible to to thick camo paint.
Untouched "been there" helmet. Hard to find!
