Wehrmacht Heer EM/NCO-pattern tropical side-cap (ie. 'Schiffchen') as was intended for staff serving within the 'Panzer-Truppen'.
The piece is executed in tan-coloured linnen and shows a (typical) darker-red-coloured lining. The cap shows a stamped makers'-stamp (that reads: 'Clements Wagner......(?) - 57') and has both (tan-coloured) venthole-rivets in place.
The cap shows a tropical, greyish-coloured cap-eagle and ditto cocarde (both executed in 'BeVo'-weave) in place. Both insignia-pieces are attached by means of hand-stitching) and also shows the bright-pink-coloured 'Soutache'-chevron period-attached.
The cap comes in an overall nice condition and shows only moderate age and/or wear. It is sized '57' and will with certainty fit a mannequins' head.
