Extremely rare single decal M40 helmet worn by an Afrikakorps soldier. M40 shell issued with single decal. Original "khaki" tropical paint still covering about 85-90% of the shell. Nice sign of wear and fine patina.
Originally added and entirely matching liner and rivets showing original colour as well. Soft leather liner. Size 56.
Matching soft leather chin strap with a large maker's mark which is hard to read. It is even harder to photograph but the strap is definitely marked.
The single eagle decal is nicely coming through the original khaki paint but 80% are still covered.
Very hard to come by! Good condition. A truly rare Afrikakorps collectable!
