A German M40 helmet. The type of helmet was issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Polilzei and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
Paint: Original factory paint. Around 90% still present. Rust and signs of wear and age.
Decals: The eagle decal shows the swastika being scratched off.
Lining: Lather lining. Still flexible but not too soft anymore.. Original cord. 56 size stamped. Named
The prongs look to have been opened once however lining and shell look to belong together for sure,
