Rare Third Reich Government Official’s Dagger M38 "Dolch für Staatsbeamte" with portepee.
"Alcoso" maker marked blade. Stained. Furthermore, a wire is wrapped around the blade at the top. Silvered tombak fittings. The backplate of the handle is made from iron. Nice mother-of-pearl grip plates. Both slightly "protruding" but no chips or cracks.
The crossguard is slightly loose (eagle looking left). Original pommel screw in place. Including an officer's portepee. The scabbard (magnetic) comes with the typical overlapping oak leaf bands. No dents.
