 Heer officer's panther head sabre with portepee & hanger - Eickhorn # 1695

Beschreibung
BESCHREIBUNG ANSEHEN

A very nice panther head officer's sabre made by Eickhorn, Solingen. Model # 1695.

The blade is in nice condition. "Eickhorn Solingen" maker marked. Gilt aluminium hilt fittings. Panter head pommel with inserted red glass eyes. The front langet bears the Wehrmacht eagle with outstretched wings. Black celluloid grip with intact wrapping. Matching officer's portepee.

Original black factory painted steel scabbard. No dents. Including the sabre hanger (leather). Fully working snap clip.

Length: 100 cm.
