Legion Condor - Flak 4-pocket service tunic with medals

Beschreibung

Early privately purchased 4-pocket service tunic to a Legion Condor veteran and Oberfeldwebel serving with Flak-Regiment 14. The tunic comes with his medals and a nice Legion Condor medal bar. His medals include a rare Spanish Cross in silver with swords.

Nice Meybauer made Spanish Cross in silver with swords. Tombak. Nice silver finish with a very dark patina. L/13 maker marked to the reverse. It is attached by two originally attached loops to the right breast pocket. The tip of the pin made a small hole to the cloth. A nice proof this cross was truly worn with this tunic.

Unmarked 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class. It also looks to be a Meybauer piece. Attached to two period time applied loops with clear signs of wear.

Lovely 4-place medal bar with Spanish Medals. The bar is attached to two ribbon bar loops and also through the cloth. When taken the medal bar away, we found lot of dust behind it to the blue cloth (see picture).
1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class, Order of Military Merit (intact enamel), Spanish Civil War Campaign Medal.

Period time applied Iron Cross ribbon. All buttons complete and originally attached.

Hand-embroidered breast eagle attached by hand. Machine-attached collar tabs and NCO tress. Red piped sewn-in shoulder boards with very early rank pips and early style "14" aluminum cyphers. A "Waffenmeister" sleeve badge with silver cord attached by hand.

Fine silk lining with signs of wear. A hanger for a dagger.

Medium size. No moth damage.
