Marine SA Service Dagger. Made by Carl Eickhorn Solingen.
The blade shows the etched motto "Alles für Deutschland". "Eickhorn Solingen" maker marked. Brown wooden with inserted SA roundel and national eagle. One 4.5 cm long stress crack on the front of the handle. "Wf" (Westfalen) stamped to the back of the lower crossguard. Furthermore "5" stamped on the bottom. Both crossguards are gilt.
Original brown anodized steel scabbard with gilt fittings. A few small dents. Three screws were replaced. Including the brown leather hanger and belt loop. The metal parts are also gilt. The snap clip is fully working.
All metal parts were probably gilded after 1945 (postwar)!
