3. Wound Badge in Black, awarded on September 15, 1942, to him as Obergefreiten and member of the 3./Pz.Pion.-Batl. 40. Hole punches and one folding crease. Ink signature.

Kurt was obviously demoted as his rank shows only that of a Pionier in 1944.
