This Solingen made Hitler Youth knife is very nice worn example. The hilt is a fine example having a steel metal with fantastic plating in very good condition.

The grip plates are the black checkered variety being in perfect condition. The HJ insignia has fine enamel with its nice colors of red white gold and black swastika. The grip rivets are the zinc type.

The scabbard shell retains 75% of the paint. Attached to the scabbard is a very fine black leather hanger complete with its retaining loop and working snap. This leather is still supple but has the majority of its original finish missing.

The blade is in very good condition. The ricasso is marked A.W. Jr and Solingen Ges.Gesch. surrounding the company logo. The motto “Blut und Ehre” is present.
