This Solingen made Hitler Youth knife is very nice worn example. The hilt is a fine example having a pot metal with most of the plating in good condition.

The grip plates are the black checkered variety being in perfect condition. The HJ insignia has fine enamel with its nice colors of red white gold and black swastika. The grip rivets are the zinc type.

The scabbard shell retains 45% of the paint. Attached to the scabbard is a very fine black leather hanger complete with its retaining loop and working snap. This leather is still supple but has the some of its original finish missing.

The blade is in good condition. The ricasso is marked Klittermann & Moog GmbH. Haan b/ Solingen surrounding the company logo as well as the RZM designation M7/29 and 1941. No motto present.
