Facsimile signed (!) by Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel (Pour le Mérite and Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds winner). On the back of the document is a report about his bravery, for which he was awarded the Iron Cross. In the night from 28.6. to 29.6.1942 he supported the infantry in Marsa Matruk for over 2.5 hours with his gun. The foreign forces had approached up to 200 meters. The attack was repulsed. Signed by a Hauptmann. Two holes.
