Kriegsmarin Marineartillerie Uniformgruppe für einen Kapitänleutnant

Beschreibung

Fantastic and extremely rare uniform grouping for a Kapitänleutnant der Marineartillerie (Küstenartillerie).

Wartime Kriegsmarine officer's field cap. It is actually a "mountain cap" constructed with a short visor and would be identical to a Heer General's mountain cap since it comes with a gold bullion cord around the top. This example however was worn by a Küstenartillerie officer and comes with two brass naval buttons. In addition, a machine-woven Kriegsmarine Küstenartillerie cap eagle and cockade was factory attached by machine. Interestingly, the cockade and eagle are separate patches which were sewn together to make it a triangle badge.
Leather sweat-band. Silk lining with a W57 size stamp. A quite late cap in great condition. No moth damage.

Wartime privately tailored 4-pocket field tunic for a Kapitänleutnant of the Küstenartillerie. Period time attached inignia. Machine-attached officer's collar tabs. Sewn-in green shoulder boards (one small hole) with gilt rank pips and Küstenartillerie badge. Fine, hand-embroidered Küstenartillerie officer's (or Heer General's) breast eagle attached by hand.
Complete and originally attached naval buttons. Originally attached Iron Cross ribbon.

Silk lining. Some moth damage. No moth damage to the grey cloth, however! Medium size. Good condition 2.

Matching privately purchased straight field trousers with fine silk lining. All buttons complete and originally attached. Very nice conditoin. One moth hole.
Waist: 80cm. Length: 112cm.
