Quite an interesting field tunic for an infantry Hauptmann. A rather early parade tunic which he had converted into a field tunic by adding top pocket flaps as well as cuffs later in wartime. The tailor also added another collar with hand-applied collar tabs. He removed the inside belt.
Hand--attached officer's breast eagle. Sewn-in shoulder boards.
Loops for one award as well as a field ribbon bar.
Silk lining. Clearly worn but no damage. Medium size.
