BESCHREIBUNG ANSEHEN

Handball sports buckle to Kriegsmarine Mechaniker-Maat Rudolf Hempel serving onboard the auxiliary cruiser "Thor". During his service in Japan, he was involved in a handball match Germany vs. Japan. You can find the photos of the game in lot # 2000000517957. The belt buckle was a gift to both teams in memory of the game.

Tombak. Silvered. Enameled front, showing the Japanese national emblem and the swastika. Inscription "HANDBALL - FREUNDSCHAFTSLÄNDERSPIEL 2602". No chipping. Diameter: 50 mm.
