Deutsches Reich 1918 - 1945
Lt. Wiesend (Luftwaffe Ehrenblattspange) - persönlicher Viertaschenrock

Beschreibung

Grouping to Leutnant Hermann Wiesend, a personal friend of our consignor. Wiesend worked as a riding instructor after the war and taught our consignor for years. His personal tunic and a few other items came straight Wiesend's widow. The rest of the lot turned up in an antique shop about 10 years ago. This grouping could be reunited.

Wiesend, born in 1916, was one of the few recipients of the Luftwaffe Honor Roll Clasp which was not instituted before 5.7.1944. There are almost no records on recipients!
As his personal CV states, he was awarded the Honor Roll Clasp and the German Cross in Gold during the battles of Cherbourg, Normandy, in 1944.
