ET64 marked M40 shell issued with a single decal. Most of the original fieldgrey paint in place. The shell was found overpainted with black color which was carefully removed. Underneath the black paint came up a skull painted with white paint to the front side of the helmet.
Nice original soft liner with original cord. Size 57. Soft chin strap. Maker marked.
The liner was re-attached to the shell by adding original unworn rivets to make this helmet complete again.
