Privately purchased wartime manufactured field cap for a Luftwaffe officer in the classic "M43 design". Hand-embroidered cap eagle attached by hand. Both buttons in place. A very thin officer's cord to the top.
Yellow color silk lining with an ink maker's stamp to the center. Size 58 stamped. The sweat-band towards the visor was removed! You can still see rests of it.
