Family purchased grouping to Kurt Benedix. Bendix served with the Reichsmarine in the early 1930s and became a Kriegsmarine officer later serving as an officer on board the destroyer "Erich Steinbrinck".His exact rank is unknown to us.

One Kriegsmarine officer's dagger portepee as well as three cap tallies are attached to the stick: "Kriegsmarine" - "RESERVE HAT RUH" - "ZERSTÖRER ERICH STEINBRINCK".
