Untouched family consigned grouping to Leutnant Tröger. Tröger, possibly a WW1 veteran, served as a Leutnant with Artillerie-Regiment 46 which was based in Amberg, Bavaria, his hometown.
The grouping was found in a large size wooden officer's case in August 2021 and containing an impressive amount of WWI and WWII militaria. Please see other items from Tröger's family listed in this catalogue.
A nicely worn visor cap with 100% period time applied insignia. Red piping.
Zinc cap eagle. Embroidered wreath badge. Chins strap in place.
Fine lining with an intact celluloid diamond. "Kan. Tröger Walter" named and "Art.Regt.46" (Amberg) unit marked to a paper tag.
