Deutsches Reich 1918 - 1945
Drei Fotoalben eines Artilleristen & Mitglied des Stahlhelmbund von 1917-1937

Beschreibung

Three photo albums of an artilleryman and Stahlhelmbund member named Bockamp. His father was Oberst Paul Gerhard Bockamp. All albums came straight of a family member and were never available on the market before! A rare piece of early WW1 postwar history!

Album # 1

The album documents his service in World War I beginning in 1917. He served with 1. Westpreußisches Feld-Artillerie-Regiment Nr. 35. It contains 130 photos and comes with nice photos from the front as well as numerous handwritten notes.

Album # 2

This album shows his service with the Stahlhelmbund. The photos were taken in the middle of the 20s. Among them are shots of Franz Seldte, Paul von Hindenburg, and August von Mackensen. Also nice photos of highly decorated veterans of World War I. Some hand-written notes. 93 photos.

Album # 3

It begins in 1931 and also shows his Stahlhelmbund membership. The further course shows photos of him with the Reichswehr and the newly formed Wehrmacht in 1935. His handwritten notes indicate that he served with Artillerie-Regiment 19 (formed in 1934 in Hannover). The last photos are from 1937. Two photos have been removed from the album. 126 photos.
