Beschreibung

The grouping consists of photos, death cards, newspaper cuttings, badges, and documents. Including three colored large-size (40x30 cm) portrait photos. It is very interesting, that the brothers were at the same time in Paris. Each photo is dated "Paris 1942" as well as signed by the same artist.

Obergefreiter Pius Wolfmiller

He served with an Artillerie-Regiment. Awarded the 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, East Medal, and Wound Badge in Black. Killed in action on 15.10.1943 near Trigubowo.

Gefreiter Johann Wolfmiller

He served with Infanterie-Regiment 63. Awarded the Infantry Assault Badge in Silver and Sudetenland Medal. Killed in action on 11.2.1942 in the east.

Gefreiter Ludwig Wolfmiller

Awarded the Wound Badge in Black and 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Declared dead in March 1944. However, he survived the war and came home in December 1949.
