Luftwaffe flying troops shoulder boards and collar tabs for an Oberfeldwebel. Probably the cloth loops of the shoulder boards were removed.

Oberfeldwebel Hans Heinz served as a bomber pilot with Kampfgeschwader 152 "Hindenburg", Kampfgruppe 88 (Legion Condor), and Lehrgeschwader I. Killed in action on 29.09.1940 on the return flight from England. Posthumously awarded the Luftwaffe Honor Goblet and the Spanish Cross in Gold with Swords for his service in the Spanish Civil War.
