NSKK motorcyclist's leather crash helmet. Two different eagles were worn with this type of helmet. A 1st pattern early style eagle and a 2nd pattern type with NSKK shown above the eagle's head.
Early 1st pattern eagle from tombak. Original to this helmet. All prongs in place.
Leather helmet with straps and ear covers.
Neck protection in place.
Lining: soft leather. Period time attached RZM tag "Sturzhelm nach Vorschrift des NSKK"
The lining is named and the unit is written on it: 15/ M51.
The helmet was oiled in modern times to make the leather softer. Some damage and rips!
