The photos start with the rail loading and the railway transport to Parma/Italy. The unit visited several famous, cultural, and historic sights in Italy ( Neapel, Vesuv, Pompeji, Capri). It continues with the shipping to Northern Africa. The soldier was an automobile mechanic. Several photos show the daily war routine in the Africa campaign. The soldiers wear the typical tunic, taken on the southern front. The album ends with 8 photos from the visit to Athen/Greece and the stay in a military hospital in Landau/Pfalz.
