Solid General Assault badge. The maker of these GAB's for a long time remained unknown. For some time it was thought Wernstein was a possible maker option. This however changed when recently two of these awards popped up in wartime envelopes featuring the thus far unknown maker "Metall-und Kunstharzwerk Komotau/Sudetengau" making this the most likely maker of these rather uncommon and very heavy GAB's.
