This sabre type was worn by Land Customs officials.
Clean nickel-plated steel blade. No maker's mark. Gilded brass hilt fittings with a lion's head pommel. Comes with two red inlaid glass eyes. Black celluloid grip without chipping. The wire wrapping is missing (two "rows" are present). The front langet bears the national eagle. Includes the customs portepee. Original black painted steel scabbard. It has no dents. Approx. 75-80% of the black paint is present.
